Sapps & Co is looking for a reliable, motivated and experienced Warehouse & Delivery Driver to join our growing warehouse and distribution team.
We supply a wide range of packaging, coffee and hospitality products to businesses throughout South East Queensland, and we’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team and is happy to get involved across all areas of our warehouse and delivery operations.
This is a hands-on role combining warehouse duties, picking and packing orders, receiving stock and making deliveries to our customers.
About the Role
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders accurately
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Delivering orders to customers safely and on time
- Receiving and checking incoming stock
- Operating a forklift and moving pallets within the warehouse
- Putting stock away and maintaining organised stock locations
- Assisting with stocktakes and general inventory control
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe
- Completing delivery paperwork and checking orders
- Providing friendly and professional service when dealing with customers
- Helping the wider warehouse and distribution team wherever required
About You
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, organised and takes ownership of their work.
Ideally, you’ll have:
- Previous warehouse experience
- Previous delivery driving experience
- A current forklift licence
- A current Australian driver’s licence and a safe driving record
- Experience picking and packing orders
- Experience receiving, checking and putting away stock
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to help the team
- Good physical fitness and the ability to safely handle cartons and stock
- A strong understanding of workplace and warehouse safety
Experience within distribution, packaging, hospitality supplies, foodservice or similar industries would be an advantage, but isn’t essential.
