Coffee contains vitamin B5, B2, B3, B1, potassium and manganese all of which are beneficial for us to consume on a daily basis. You will never look at a cup of coffee the same again, right?

Yes, you read that correctly. Coffee contains caffeine, which of course is a stimulant and is the most commonly consumed psychoactive substance the world over. Research has now shown that coffee not only makes you feel more alert and awake but also it increases neuronal firing in the brain prompting the release of neurotransmitters like dopamine. The studies show coffee improves mood, speeds up reaction time, improves memory and overall general cognitive function.

Check any commercial fat burning supplement and you will more often than not find caffeine in the ingredients list. It is due to the stimulant effect on the nervous system which has been proven to raise metabolism and increases the oxidation of fatty acids which helps to mobilise fatty acids from the fat tissues while also improving athletic performance.
