Daniel Saporita

Daniel has had over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry in a range of different locations and roles. 


Daniel found his passion for food at a young age, completing his apprenticeship in a greek restaurant in Brisbane while he was still at school. 


Daniel has since worked in the kitchen at Da Gapo Greek Restaurant, Olive Pit and Roman Empire in Brisbane, and since moving to the Sunshine Coast has owned his own restaurant 'Melomy of the Meadows' until 2012, then continuing as head chef at Bella Venezia and Mykies by the Bay. 


Daniel then took on another challenging task as he played a pivotal role in setting up a local Pasta restaurant, being heavily involved with developing operational procedures, designing menus and recipes all with the view to provide a solution that could be franchised and allow growth in the future. 


Daniel feels his biggest professional accomplishment to date has been establishing his own successful restaurant which was loved by many regulars and enjoyed by casual visitors alike for a period of 7 years. 


Daniel now seeks to utilise his knowledge, skills and reputation to support other local cafes and restaurants to develop and implement the best business practices, supply the most economical and fresh produce and create a world class food and beverage industry on the Sunshine Coast.
